The unfilled space and emphasis in the film is completely digital. I would say it is highly stylized. Some of the other films that come to mind but lack excellent stylization are Saathiya, Khakee, Mangal Pandey, and Singh is King.

The character of the missing pilot is embodied and vividly performed through the spirited Veer Pahariya. By the looks of it, he seems to possess a dogged earnestness about him that allows him to set aside all else and fight for his country without hesitation – even if it means giving up his life. While Pahariya’s is a less central role, without failing to discharge its duties within the framework of a clearly dominated and overpowering Kumar, is an impressive performance.

Alongside the major characters, supporting characters are well taken care of with Khan acting as a wartime journalist and Kaur as Malhotra’s wife. Both these actresses add the required complexity to what would otherwise be largely emotionless characters so that the action sequences are well complemented with soft-spoken reflection and other moments of action imbalance.

The airborne artillery assault and strike scenes are shot and executed with endless attention to detail and artistry while providing a first-hand view of the war tormented skies around the viewer.
